India defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in second ODI. with this India registered 10 successive series win against Sri Lanka.
Earlier Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and elected to bat first. There was one change in Indian side Kuldeep Yadav came in place of Yuzvendra Chahal who was injured in previous match. India got first breakthrough in sixth over when Siraj bowled Avishka . Sri Lanka were going very good with 88 in 15 overs. After sixteen overs Kuldeep Yadav came in to bowl and got the wicket of Kusal Mendis. India got rid of Dhananjaya De Silva on the bowling of Axar Patel. De Silva went for duck. Nuwainidu hit half century on his debut. After his departure Sri Lankan wicket fell at regular interval. They managed to score just 215 in 39.4 overs. Kuldeep Yadav and Md Siraj took three wickets each.
India started at good pace. The were 30/0 in three overs. In fourth over Kusal Mendis took catch of Rohit Sharma at 17. Shubman Gil was out in sixth over. Kohli scored just four. Iyer scored 28. Kl Rahul scored 64. He and Kuldeep Yadav took Indian score to 219/6. kuldeep Yadav was declared Man of the match.
